Background
I'm originally from the southern part of India but grew up most of my life in Calcutta, where I did my bachelors in computer science and engineering. I have always been fascinated by the world of computers and have been programming since the age of 10.
My first job out of college was at Hewlett Packard in the DataCenter and Infrastructure division, where I learned a ton about storage, networking and server management. That grounding in how machines actually behave is still how I think about software.

What I do today
At Avoca I lead the Deployed Engineering team. We put AI voice agents on real phone lines for home-services businesses, which means the day-to-day is latency budgets, evals, telephony, and the unglamorous work of making an agent reliable enough that a customer trusts it with a booking. A lot of what I write on the blog comes straight out of that work.
On the side I run QRCodeStack, the world's most affordable dynamic QR code generator, and SnipVault. I also take on a small number of outside AI voice agent development projects.
Outside work
My life revolves around my two dogs — Rocky, a five-year-old golden retriever who still thinks he's a puppy, and Simba, a five-month-old Labrador who actually is one. Most weekends you'll find us out on an adventure together, some of which end up in the photo albums. Beyond that, fitness, travelling and cars are what excite me — and if you really wish to have a deep conversation, feel free to mail me.
